A Revolut account is opened exclusively through the mobile app (iOS or Android). You need a phone number, ID document, and selfie. The entire process takes around 5–10 minutes and is fully remote. The free Standard plan is available immediately after verification.

Yes, Revolut holds a full banking licence in the European Union (issued by the Bank of Lithuania) and EU customers' funds are protected up to EUR 100,000 through the Lithuanian deposit guarantee scheme. The bank operates under European regulatory supervision.

Revolut offers several plans: Standard (free), Plus (around PLN 10/month), Premium (around PLN 35/month), and Metal (around PLN 75/month). Higher plans offer greater fee-free currency exchange limits, cashback, travel insurance, airport lounge access, and priority support.

Does Revolut support currency exchange? ＋

Yes, Revolut offers currency exchange at the interbank rate with no spread (up to a monthly limit on the Standard plan). It supports over 30 currencies. On business days (06:00–21:00 CET) rates are most favourable — outside these hours a small margin applies.
